For The Haters

New Capital BMX stickers arrived in today. Inspired by the most diabolical haters at the 39 C house, I thought I would do a tribute to all the haters out there. Measures to be 2.75″ X 2.13″ in black and white, and should fit nicely on your headtube, handlebars, or wherever you wish to put them. I should have a few stacks of these on me, so if you see me just ask for some.
Steve Moxley – Metro Edit
Posted by Prashant - 29/09/08 at 07:09:04 amSteve just posted this video on the message board, and I figured this would be a more fitting place for more people to watch it. Clips from his Metro Jam run in Kingston last month, edited to a horrible song (sorry Steve, hah).

Dave McCaig Photography – Favorite Five
Posted by Prashant - 20/09/08 at 09:09:04 pmI’ve known Dave McCaig now for a number of years, and like his older brother, he has a thing for traveling. He disappeared for a while a couple of years ago, and made his way all over the Eastern hemisphere. With him he brought bikes, and most importantly, a camera. Knowing how talented Dave is, I asked him a while ago if he would contribute to our series of Favorite Five (which past posts were lost), where a rider in the local BMX community with a passion for photography would pick their five favorite photos they’ve taken, whether BMX or otherwise, to share with everyone, and Dave was eager to contribute. He sent me a selection of photos taken around Asia that most people haven’t had a chance to see before. A little overdue, but click the link below for Dave’s Favorite Five.

Pedal Magazine – Ottawa BMX Scene
Posted by Prashant - 18/09/08 at 09:09:28 amI mentioned this on the old site, that Chris Chitaroni wrote an article for the Canadian cycling magazine Pedal about the Ottawa BMX scene. Luckily for us, Jorden Guth snatched up a copy and scanned the relevant pages for your viewing pleasure. Click the photo to see it full size.
Tour Life
Posted by Prashant - 14/09/08 at 08:09:53 pmWhile the look of Capital BMX will be getting an update, thanks to the work of Matt Davidson, I feel the urge to start updating the site. With the crash of the previous site, we lost all the posts made, but I have lots of new content to put up, so sit tight.
Recently I got to travel to do shows down in Allentown, PA and Windsor, ON. A lot of hanging around fairs and small towns, but a few interesting excursions and experiences thrown in. Check out more photos from the trip after the jump.

Welcome Back!
