Guelph Trip

Last week Rich Redmond, Chris Campbell, and myself (now dubbed as the Dinosaur Crew) took a short trip to Guelph. On the drive there we stopped in Trenton to ride their park full of mutant, half brained children. I’m pretty terrible with digital point and shoot cameras, but had one with me, so click below to see photos and read more.

Landozine Vanity Tour Video

Landozine Vanity Tour – October from Rob Lando on Vimeo.

Chris Chitaroni made this short web video with some footage he accumulated recently from Centrepointe and the new Belleville park. He posted it on the message board last week, which has been since lost in a sea of posts and photoshop attempts, so here it is again for your viewing pleasure. Also, expect another re-design of the Landozine site coming soon I am told.

Halloween Jam Recap

Well, despite the lack of lights we still managed to have a good time at the annual Halloween Jam.  Rich and Jorden pulled their trucks up with their lights on just enough so we could see and have some small contests and throw out some prizes.
Most lip tricks award went to Ian Clarke, and the furthest 180 flyout went to little Cameron Deans, passing the torch down to a younger person every year (last year Nick Stupich, year before to Rich Redmond).  There were lots of great costumes, so much so that I never actually awarded a ‘best’ one, and just threw out lots of free stuff.  Thanks once again for everyone for coming out and making it a success, even under this years lighting circumstances.  A lot of new and younger faces this year, which is always a great thing to see in a community and local scene events like this.  Also extra big thanks to the companies that helped make it possible and donated prizes, Ten Pack and Joe Mamma’s.    Click below to enjoy some photos.  See you all next year.
