Trail Season

Now you may be thinking that posting it on the internet may not be the best way to keep a spot from blowing up, but they are looking for helping hands and people willing to dig. If riding trails is your cup of tea then check the message board to hook up with any of the trail bosses, lend a hand, and put in some work. Remember: No dig, no ride.

Ten Pack Re-Session Tour

The Ten Pack Summer 2009 Re-Session Tour got released yesterday. Basically Ten Pack is doing a big summer tour with pro riders from plenty of the companies they distribute to places all over Canada. Unofficial jams and demos in replace of cut throat competition. Macneil are having a contest to send one American rider who is having a birthday between June 7th – 12th up to Ottawa to ride/hang out with the Macneil team, and from what I understand, party in Hull (?). Either way, there will be select members of the Macneil team in town on June 13th. Click below to read the full info about the tour and all the other stops.

Harley Haskett Photography – Favorite Five

Harley Haskett is a name familiar to some. He’s a behind-the-scenes worker in the Canadian BMX industry, making all sorts of things happen with and is responsible for much of Ten Pack East. He’s gotten the new Ten Pack Distribution site up and running, updates the site, and handles much of the team stuff and blog. Harley was out this way in Ottawa last summer for the Ten Pack Am Contest at CP, and after that was stoked on Ottawa, especially the quarry. He’s an avid photographer with a unique and candid style, so I asked him to send through five of his favorite photos, and he chose a specific theme for them. This is how we returned from Toronto after the bike show this year. Despite it’s boat size length, Jeff’s Buick isn’t great for fitting bikes, so we rolled down the the 401 with this duct tape setup. Road trip life.
