Silver Screen Saturday
Posted by Landozine - 29/01/11 at 01:01:57 pmEntertainment for a snowy Saturday. I present to you Landozine Episode 3; the third instalment in the epic Landozine saga. Its clear to most that it was with this video that I learned how to apply effects, and in some cases I may have gone a bit overboard but it was all in good fun. There is alot of great riding in here. My favourite parts are definitely Derek Jokinen’s and Jeff Bedard’s. Walter Fellbaum has a hilarious song choice as well.
Capital Riders Organization.
Posted by Landozine - 26/01/11 at 04:01:58 pmAs most of you know, we were successful in our campaign to expand the Orleans skatepark this past year with the addition of a Box Jump. Hoping to ride that wave of success I’ve re-ignited the Capital Riders Organization flame and built a new webpage for the cause. I encourage everyone to go and take a look at it. Hopefully this will lead to some positive change in this city.
Throwback Thursday: A few more from 1984
Posted by Roland - 20/01/11 at 02:01:46 am
A few more pictures from 1984 (this is a guess) McLennan,AB. These were taken by my buddy Norm Blais and are pretty much the only pictures I know of from back in the day. So many good memories. The main crew was Norm, his brother Dean, my cousin Marc Viens, and myself. This ramp was across the street from the hospital I was born in, the building in the immediate background was my grade school, and if you look above it you see the steeple of the church I was baptized in. Roland this is your life….

Woodward Edit.
Posted by Landozine - 19/01/11 at 03:01:40 pmRyan Eles put together a woodward edit of him and Kyle. As it turns out, Ryan is self proclaimed “super gay” and had such a raging clue for Kyle that he’s the only other person he filmed… except for Ace’s epic flip crashes to resi.

Capital BMX Taz Rental/Snowboarding Day.
Posted by Landozine - 10/01/11 at 12:01:08 pm
We all loaded up into the Craz-E-Crew van yesterday morning for a trip to Montreal. Not only did we have the Taz rental last night but we decided to go to a ski hill north of Montreal beforehand to hit the slopes. 8 guys, 6 boards, 2 sets of skis and 8 bikes all packed into a van full of fart spray and pinkeye. It was great.

Throwback Thursday
Posted by Landozine - 06/01/11 at 01:01:21 pmJorden and I were talking about this the other day, back when the 206 house was still around and Ted Bambrick still graced Ottawa with his presence he used to boast about being able to feel the tiniest weight differences on his bike (like changing his axle nuts to titanium, or taking 2 pins out of his pedals) so as a joke we put a hotdog (pictured above) into his bike via the seat tube. Not only did he not notice it when he went riding later that day, he didn’t notice it until it had shrivelled up to a hard little ballpark frank sized turd and started to rattle around inside his frame. I only wish I had pictures of that.

One More Good Spirit Gone
Posted by Rich Red - 04/01/11 at 07:01:26 pmOk, not gone. He didn’t die. He just moved to the large black abyss known as Toronto. While the people and traffic suck, the culture, the city, the spots, and the excess of things to do, do not suck. Leland and Pat don’t suck either. In fact there are a bunch others who don’t, but so many that do…
Prashant, we are gonna miss your relentless hand gestures, hilarious laugh that goes into overdrive, and unique story telling. Some of which can be seen in these classic pics. See you at Metro Jam the latest.
Oh, and if you get total control of the reigns at Ten Pack, I have a really great idea for a signature fart spray.
Best of Luck Continue reading One More Good Spirit Gone…
