First up in Guelph, ON, our friend Patrick Krzyzanowski is having a show at the Zavitz Gallery from February 16th-21st. The opening reception will be on Friday the 20th, from 7pm to 10pm. Free food and booze provided. This is the statement Pat had to make about the work.
“Professional wrestling from the early 90s is simply incredible. I have done a series of drawings that revisit the wrestling of my youth that I loved so much recognizing the personalities and of course the wrestling!”
Secondly is a local Ottawa group art show fundraiser to raise money for the Moses Park project, headed up by Kevin Stark. Kevin has been trying to get an indoor skatepark going for quite some time, and is using this show as a small fundraiser to hopefully raise some cash for the cause. Come check it out at 5 Cent Tattoo (201 Dalhousie Street) on February 27th from 7pm – 10pm.
