Germany B-Roll
Posted by Landozine - 26/06/10 at 06:06:26 pmI realized I had a tonne of clips left over from Germany that hadn’t made it into the last video, so I whipped up another. Not nearly as good of riding as in the first one, but still fun nonetheless. I also dug up an old german punk song I remembered from an old fat wreck chords cd…

Magic Golf Bag - elapsed 00:00:00
Golf bags have magical airport powers. They repel airport check-in scales and baggage fees.
Airlines just can’t piss-off business travelers. As a result golf bags go right on the conveyor. They already know they are overweight and they aren’t going to do anything about it so they don’t bother.

I know I owe a full update on Germany, but there is really just so much to say… for now you’ll have to make due with a short tidbit about our favourite bmx character… Jeff Bedard.

Fuck you Ash Cloud. We did Germany
Posted by Landozine - 27/05/10 at 01:05:49 pmNot even mother nature could stop us from ruthlessly conquering Germany. I’ll have a full update of stories and pictures sometime in the next couple of days. Until then, whet your whistles with this little video. Stops on the trip included Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, Berlin, Hanover and Amsterdam. We put like 6000 km on our rental van. Best trip ever.

Hawaii Did I Ever Come Home?

Melanie coming out from one last shred before sunset
I just got home from a week long vacation in Honolulu. Let me tell you, going from -20 to +20 in a matter of hours is incredible. Stepping off that plane I was immersed in a very strange, yet entirely appealing culture. I’ve never really enjoyed the USA very much, they tend to have their heads up their asses and their noses in everyone’s business. Hawaii didn’t strike me that way at all, and I’m left to assume that this is a result of their geographic isolation and polynesian influence.

Roland’s Woodward Log – Day 1
Posted by Prashant - 17/11/09 at 02:11:35 pmRoland already posted this on the message board, but it’s a great read and I didn’t want it lost in a sea of posts in a week and bumped off the page, so I’m re-posting it here. Stay tuned for Day 2. Take the time to read some inspiring words from this Ottawa BMX veteran on his long quest to ride Woodward.

Woodward Trip 2009
Posted by Landozine - 09/11/09 at 12:11:09 am
We just got home from a gnarly visit to Woodward camp in Pennsylvania. It was an incredible trip, and I’ll elaborate on it in a bigger post in the next couple of days… but until then I just couldn’t wait to put this picture up. Roland was opening up new lines at Woodward, a task not easily accomplished when there are pros visiting daily. In this photo, Roland is trying to handplant the sub across the channel from quarter to bank. Its a 4 foot gap from one to the other and he ends up right upside down. Sadly he never pulled it, but he had some of the gnarliest crashes trying…
Check back for the rest of the woodward coverage over the next couple of days.
