Stinktown Roadtrip
Posted by Landozine - 05/09/09 at 10:09:43 pmFor the past couple of days, Jorden Guth, Andrew Grant and I were engaged in a short BMX tour of Toronto. I always look forward to visiting stinktown; its constantly an adventure. From the crazy jibberish speaking hobos, to the amazing pizza places on every single street corner to the abundance of incredible riding spots, you can easily spend a weekend immersed in the constant engagement of awesomeness.

Ottawa to Van: A 39C Odyssey – Part 3
Posted by Prashant - 15/07/09 at 07:07:11 amIn what seems to feel like an almost infinite amount of content that came from 39C’s Vancouver road trip, we have a third installment of photos. While on the Vancouver portion of their trip, the weary travelers all stayed with the hospitable Adam McKay who shot a bunch of fantastic photos of and with the guys. Click the link below to check them all out.

Ottawa to Van: A 39C Odyssey
Posted by Prashant - 13/07/09 at 03:07:21 pmThe tenants of Ottawa’s most notorious BMX house (39C Deerfield), Jeff Bedard, Marc Boudreau, Jamie Lawlor, Kyle Lafleur, and special guests Leland Nightingale from Toronto and Andrew Gobbo from Hamilton, took a two week driving journey from Ottawa to Vancouver and back. In between heavy sessions of what I can only imagine consisted of ci-gar smoking, beer drinking, and artery clogging food consumption, they managed to ride a huge assortment of new stuff, see sites, meet new riders, all the while Marc snapped photos along the way. He sent along a big assortment of different stuff from their trip that you can check out in full by clicking below.

Muskoka Camp
Posted by Prashant - 07/07/09 at 07:07:34 pmOttawa’s Matt Comeau recently spent a little bit of time up in northern Ontario’s Muskoka Woods Camp and took a few photos of his experience. Click below to check them all out, and this is what he had to say about his experience there:
Muskoka Woods was fun but the weather there was horrible so I was only able to ride the outdoor parks for 2 of the 6 days. The parks were great, the food was good, and the councilors were cool.

Guelph Weekend Recap

Man of the hour, Patrick Krzyzanowski
So the other day Rich Redmond, Jeff Bedard, and myself (Prashant ) headed down to Guelph for the opening reception of our friend Patrick’s Art Show. He’s been studying fine art at the University of Guelph for a couple of years now, and his body of work and technical skills is becoming more and more refined, so I was excited to see how his work for the show would turn out. His work consisted of large sized watercolour pieces with fine line ink drawing depicting an era of professional wrestling and the “masculinity” of it all. I snapped a few photos at the show, and you can check them out by clicking below.

Armistice Day
Posted by G-rant - 20/11/08 at 07:11:02 amHi all,
I apologize for the tardyness of this post because it was supposed to be posted last Wednesday. Either way, as your European correspondent I feel that it is my duty to tell you of my adventure to the Vimy Ridge monument in Vimy France that I did on Rememberance Day. This small piece of Canadian territory in northern France is the site of one of Canada’s most important strategic offensives of the First World War. You can all go to Wikipedia and get a detailed description of the event, but I’ll give you a short run down.

Where The Monks Brew Best
Posted by G-rant - 12/11/08 at 03:11:41 pmHey Friends!
Yeah, yeah I know it’s been a long time and I haven’t been diligent with any updates (at all) for most of you, about my current situation. That situation being, I’m in Belgium! It is the land of beer (Abbey and Trappist especially), loose weed laws and looser women. I arrived at the beginning of September, somehow found a place to live after about a week, but had to wait another week for it to be rennovated. Eventually I settled down and was able to relax, travel and really get into the BMX scene here.

Leaner into the deep end of the bowl. Gargle ‘em Boudreau!

Guelph Trip
Posted by Prashant - 11/11/08 at 01:11:48 amLast week Rich Redmond, Chris Campbell, and myself (now dubbed as the Dinosaur Crew) took a short trip to Guelph. On the drive there we stopped in Trenton to ride their park full of mutant, half brained children. I’m pretty terrible with digital point and shoot cameras, but had one with me, so click below to see photos and read more.
