BARCELONA VIDEO PREMIERE SATURDAY FEB 11th 2 PM!!!
Posted by Landozine - 03/02/12 at 07:02:02 pm
I hope to see you all out next Saturday afternoon at 2pm for the premiere of the Landozine BARCELONA video, as well as the 10th anniversary Landozine video… that’s right. I just finished editing 2 videos and will be showing them both for FREE at the Clocktower Pub on Saturday February 11th. This is an all ages event, so if you ride a bike in Ottawa or Gatineau and aren’t working on Saturday, you have no excuse but to come out and have a good time.
DVDs will be on sale after the premiere, $20 gets you both the Landozine 10th anniversary video and the Barcelona video as well as a heap of extras. Big thanks to Joe Mamma’s as always for setting us up with the venue. And after the whole thing is wrapped up most of us are going to be heading to Montreal to ride Liam’s Taz rental. All are invited!
Barcelona Vacation Trailer
Posted by Landozine - 29/11/11 at 07:11:34 pmI’ve had a couple of people ask me what happened to the Barcelona footage, and after sifting through and organizing the nearly 100 gb of footage that was shot on the trip I’ve finally started editing it. It will be included in the ‘Landozine X’ DVD pack scheduled to be released sometime in February to commemorate ten years of Landozine videos. Click the link below to see the trailer. It’s 2 minutes long, and I didn’t really even use any of the best clips. The full video is going to be gnarly.
Throwback Thursday – Landozine Videozine 2006
Posted by Landozine - 06/10/11 at 01:10:44 pmI’ve been meaning to toss this up on Vimeo for a while and finally got around to it last night, just in time for a throwback thursday. This is the video that made Andrew Grant an international superstar, and established Jorden as King Coma. I can’t believe that this video came out 5 years ago. It feels like just yesterday we were sitting around 206 watching menu screens in our underwear. (and pads)
I watched it all the way through last night and got a serious nostalgia bomb. I miss being unemployed and road tripping constantly. Hell, riding my bike every day like I did then would be fun now. But I guess I’ll have to settle for watching old videos for a while since winter is on the come up.
Enjoy!
TRAILS JAM ANNOUNCEMENT + TRAILS VIDEO
Posted by Landozine - 12/09/11 at 05:09:08 pm
Come out and get your bike dirty at Josh Brose’s family farm where he has built two spectacular doubles and a big lofty quarterpipe. We’re going to be riding all day in a non formal jam format, with prizes donated from Jose Bray and Joe Mamma’s.
Even you brakeless street dogs should strap on your helmets and elbow pads and come out. Even if you’re not feeling the jumps, we’re going to have food, drinks, music and good times. It also happens to be Josh’s birthday, so there will be much celebrating going on.
Drive out, ride for the day, and sleep over. There is plenty of room to tent, and there are some accommodations inside as well.
INVITE YOUR FRIENDS, even non-riding friends who would come out and have a good time. Otherwise you’re just going to be riding in front of a bunch of cows.
Jorden Guth’s Vancouver Edit.
Posted by Landozine - 05/06/11 at 12:06:45 pmJorden tricked everyone into thinking he moved to Vancouver but he came back and all he had was this edit. (It’s a decent edit for sure).
Rich Red’s Spring Edit.
Posted by Landozine - 29/05/11 at 11:05:14 amRich has been clocking footy with his new T3i over the past little while and he just put this edit up on Vimeo. Definitely worth a look, some footage from CP, some street and A Monster Truck Rally (that’s where Rich takes his girlfriend on dates apparently, diesel as an aphrodesiac…) Its a solid edit with footage from alot of local riders. Check it out.
Farm Life
Posted by Prashant - 10/05/11 at 12:05:14 pmLeland and I went to his farm in Campbellford over the weekend, played with goats and chicken, rode the skatepark in town, and drove to Bellville to eat pizza and ride a bump. This is my first time editing and I tried to sum up the weekend in less than a minute.
Vader Manual Montage – The Rich Redmond Self Edit
Posted by Landozine - 06/05/11 at 03:05:30 pmRich Redmond uploaded a pretty solid video part comprising of his footage from the last year or so. Lots of good street park and dirt. A very well rounded section with a tonne of bangers. Nobody else is doing as many street nothings as ol’ Ricky. Definitely worth a look.
North Bay Street Session
Posted by Landozine - 23/04/11 at 10:04:45 pmMy cousin Ryan showed me a pretty cool dirt hip in a grungy North Bay neighbourhood yesterday and we had a decent little session there. There was also a cool little bank to rock setup, a fence hop and a strange little kicker dug into the side of a stairset. Its fun to ride stuff other than Centerpoint once in a while… haha. I didn’t have all my camera gear with me, but was able to put together a little edit with footage from my iphone.
Two Brains are Better than One.
Posted by Landozine - 23/04/11 at 04:04:54 pmTristan sent me a pretty excellent edit of Ben Desjardins and Haircut Nick. Check it out.
