Jeff Bedard Chronicles – Volume 1

Jeff Bedard is a hard person to characterize. No matter how much I try to explain him to other people, no one story can do him justice. A few weeks ago I was in Toronto and Leland Nightingale, Jamie Lawlor, and I were trying to describe the type of person Jeff is to Leland’s roommate, and kept trading and sharing stories, each more bizarre then the next, but it still couldn’t accurately describe him. Along with being an incredibly talented and creative rider, he is one of the most interesting people I have ever met in my life, and can simultaneously make you laugh and cringe in disgust with one sentence without even trying. I asked a bunch of different people to share some Jeff stories with me, in hopes that people that don’t know him could get a glimpse in to his character. Some may be short, some may be long, but they will all surely be entertaining. Hopefully as more stories come in, I will continue with further volumes. When Jeff was living in Toronto (the majority of which he was shirtless) him and Silva had some wild agreement that had Jeff biking all over the city trying to find rails for Silva. Silva agreed to pay jeff 10$ for every rail he found if he filmed the run up, the rail, and landing. Jeff got paid well since he found plenty of good rails for Silva, and in doing so managed to get the most ridiculous backpack shoulder strap tan lines ever.
it might be added I have great memories of going shirtless job hunting with Jeff. when he’d get to a store he wanted to apply at, he’d pull a crisp shirt and resume out of his backpack, once the resume was given, he’d come back out and immediately take the shirt off and put it in his bag.

oh man!hahaha!
ya i totally got jeff to do that, he found a bunch of new spots nobody had really seen….i never ended paying him anything, i kept finding excuses that the spots werent good,lol… the spots were all AMAZING!
