I thought I would start off the year with a photo post. I used this photo in the latest issue of Yo, Sick Zine, but it’s also nice to see it in colour, greater resolution, and with a bit of an explanation.
During October’s contest at the Taz in Montreal, a handful of other riders rode the upstairs miniramp, and Jorden Guth was doing these wild airs to harsh toothpick slams. It was loud and scary, especially with the way he dangles his toothpicks. Even with this photo getting scanned crooked, I still liked it because you can see the rest of the park in the background with a contest taking place, and Jorden’s total disregard for anything else happening, except scaring himself with something dangerous. That seems to be a common thing for him.
