Throwback Thursday

I dug this little picture out of the vault today. A classic Jeff Bedard shot. This was at the Ryan Heights skatepark in Sudbury that, for all intensive purposes, Jeff and I built. This park was great; when we started riding there, we’d get kicked out all the time because it was no bikes allowed. By the time the park died 5 or 6 years later, Jeff and I had keys to the maintenance shed, ordered the wood we wanted and built the ramps we thought would be best. In retrospect I wish I had known more about ramp construction because we could have built some really amazing stuff, but regardless I’ll always love that place for what it was.


This was of course before Jeff got himself tangled up in the world of Ci-gars and could pedal fast enough to get speed to do something like this… oh those were the days…
