This is a photo Denver Eastman shot of Dave McCaig at the L’Orignal park ages ago. I want to say some time around 2003? Style for miles, and he’s been doing tucked no-handers for ages now. I remember one instance when Dave didn’t get his hands back on the bars in time and had a brutal crash and gave himself a concussion. The local neighbors at the trailer park rushed over, and the infamous Jean Jacket’s father was quick to dispense strict orders to us in which we ignored then drove Dave back to Ottawa.
This photo is also another Denver Eastman creation. If you know, then you know, but basically it was a response to my desire for more gangs in BMX. Da Beardz live on, and I hear Denver is rocking a pretty strong one nowadays too.
